Kids Creator Space
Bring your kids along for some free art and craft workshops, playtime and fun activities! The kids tent will be located on the corner of Furneaux Street and Charlotte Street. Open 9am – 4pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hosted by Wallaby Creek Festival committee and supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund and Neil McShane.
Botanics River Cruise
Join the Australian Tropical Herbarium Director Darren Crayn for a guided tour onboard Riverbend Tours. Cruise down the Endeavour River and learn about the plant species and specimens collected by Banks and Solander on their visit to Cooktown in 1770. Tea, coffee and pastries included.
