In the footsteps of Banks and Solander

Botanic Gardens 1 Walker Street, Cooktown

Join a guided scenic bush walk from Grassy Hill to the Cooktown Botanic Gardens via Cherry Tree Bay and learn about the botanical species that captured the imagination of Banks and Solander back in 1770. Lead by Professor Darren Crayn, Queensland Herbarium.

Cook Shire Council acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which Cooktown 2020 commemorations will be held and pay respect to the Elders past, present and future.
